Postnatal Doula Support
In traditional cultures, new mothers are supported and cared for during the first 40 days after birth.
In western society, new mothers often feel exhausted, overwhelmed and isolated because they’re not supported and cared for in the time after birth. I want this to change, one mother at a time.
I want you to have the best start to motherhood possible. I would love to support and care for you, so you feel nourished, nurtured, loved, rested and rejuvenated after 40 days. I will mother you, while you learn to mother, bond with and get to know your baby.
During this special and sacred window of postpartum, we will work together so as you can rest and recover from the birth and enjoy your transition to motherhood.
Postpartum massage is one of the best ways to help your body recover and heal after birth. It helps to soothe sore, aching muscles in your back, shoulders, neck and arms from breastfeeding and carrying your baby. It’s also time for you to relax, be nurtured and in harmony. I use warm oil for your massage and use long, slow strokes.
I offer in home postpartum massage packages of 3 or 6 massages (or I can tailor a massage package to your needs).

Cooking meals in your home
I will cook nourishing meals for you and your family that will help you heal and recover after birth.
I will also share information about what foods are best postpartum.
Physical and emotional postnatal support and care
In home visits, email and text support, light housework, assistance with siblings, caring for your baby while you nap, shower or have some ‘me’ time. Help with visitors, information and support with breastfeeding and bottle feeding if needed. We will decide together what you need most that day.
Referral to other professionals as needed
If you need support outside my knowledge and training, I can refer you to other professionals, if and when you need it.
Information and supply for belly binding
Belly binding supports your lower back, postural, abdominal and pelvic floor recovery after birth.
I will help and guide you to find your village as a new mum.
